Riley Green Co-Hosts CMA Fest

A few weeks ago, about 100,000 fans converged on Nashville for the annual CMA Fest. Thursday night, ABC will air a TV special capturing many of the musical highlights from the 4-day event. The 3 hour program will be co-hosted by Riley Green & Laura Spencer. This is Riley’s first time hosting a TV special, and he’s looking forward to it.

Riley Green: “Performing at CMA Fest is such a big deal, it’s something you grow up dreaming about doing. I don’t think I ever grew up dreaming about hosting. I hope I didn’t bite off more than I can chew. Excited to have a part in the festival, and being able to interview some of the artists I’m friends with. Should be a good time.”

Luke Bryan: “What makes CMA Fest different for me, it’s just fun to honor the hard core fans of country music. It’s all about honoring them, what they’ve done for my career, and watching new artists establish their relationships with the fans. It will also be the last time in this stadium.”

Blake Shelton: “I’ve loved coming to CMA Fest, the stadium is the centerpiece. My first appearance was in 2001. So 25 years later, to still be doing this, I know how lucky I am, how rare this is, so I’m taking in in, enjoying it, and trying not to overthink it.”

Jason Aldean: “Always excited to be back for CMA Fest and perform at Nissan Stadium. The first time I played it, I was playing in the parking lot. Couldn’t wait to get in here and play inside the stadium. It never gets old, all the fans who come here, hit em with a fast uptempo show, so it’s fun for us.”
