Cody Johnson Album Preview
The co-host this wknd on Country Countdown USA is Cody Johnson. The day they got together, Cody was hosting an album release party in Nashville. Lon got a chance to ask Cody a lot of questions about the new album, called “Banks of the Trinity.” During their conversation, Cody talked a lot about how this new album gives a lot of background about how he was raised. Although he was in fact raised on the banks of the Trinity River, Cody didn’t write the title song. But when he heard it, he knew he had to record it, and that it would be the centerpiece of the album.
