This week, Lon will look back at the life & music of the late Toby Keith, who passed away from cancer a few weeks ago. Toby co-hosted the Countdown many times, starting in 1993. This show features Lon’s conversations with Toby about music and other subjects.
Through the years Lon caught up with Toby around the country, from his 2002 Fan Club party aboard the General Jackson riverboat in Nashville, to the Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn Michigan. Toby also did the show while on the road in Louisville, Philadelphia, and Salt Lake City.
Along the way, we’ll play Toby’s Top 5 biggest songs according to Mediabase, with his own stories about those songs.
