Jason Aldean Co-Hosts 6/29-30

The co-host this wknd is Jason Aldean, who’s in our Top 10 with ”Let Your Boys Be Country.” He’s about to hit the road with his Highway Desperado tour. He also talks about an all-star beer pong game after the ACM Awards that included Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, and Post Malone.

Jason had just returned from a European vacation: ”The only time I had ever been there was to do some shows. I didn’t get to see much. So this was the first time I got to be there on vacation, and didn’t have anything else to do.”

Lon asked if Jason’s current hit is a modern version of the Waylon classic ‘Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.’  Jason replied, ”It was to me. It hit me different now that I have a son, and see what he’s gonna have to deal with.  I want to raise him to be ready for that.”

The video shows Jason’s son Memphis with a bow & arrow: ”We’re still working on the shooting part.  I had him fishing at 3. The hunting is different.  That’s a work in progress.  My wife hates the hunting part. She’s a huge animal lover, she hates to see them get hurt.”

Jason said he recently spoke with new dad Kane Brown: ”So excited for him. I think all guys, we all want that one boy. For him to finally to get his little guy is cool.”

Jason also talked to Kane about the Tennessee Titans: ”They got a new stadium, so I was trying to see if Kane had any interest in going in on a box with me.  They suites are crazy.  For me, I’d rather watch football on TV.  But having kids, it’d be cool to take them to the game.  So we’ll see.”

Jason recently opened a restaurant in Pittsburgh: ”It sits right between the baseball & football stadiums, so it’s going great.  It’s cool to have a fun spot and take your friends.  Our bar is right on the riverwalk, and Pittsburgh is such a sports town.  I love a good sports town.”

Jason was part of an all-star beer pong game after the ACM Awards: ”After the ACMs, we were looking for something to do. Jelly wanted to throw a party.  Post was looking to play beer pong, Him & Kane were wagering on the game, and it became an epic night.
