Band Perry Have Bieber Fever

It might seem as an unlikely collaboration, but last year, The Band Perry sang with pop star Justin Bieber for a holiday duet: “Home This Christmas.”  The song was included in Justin’s album, “Under The Mistletoe.”  Kimberly Perry told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton that they first met Justin at The Tonight Show about a year ago.  They met again at the CMT Awards in June.  Not long afterwards, they went in the studio with Justin.  Says Kimberly, “He’s a great kid! He’s just a kid, he seems like he’s having a good time!”

Last November Justin popped up in Franklin TN, just south of Nashville, to shoot a video.  That led to speculation that he was doing a video with The Band Perry.  But the trio says it was all news to them. “We heard about it because everybody thought we were also doing it.  Even our band!  They called us and said, ‘Are you doing a video shoot?’  And we went, ‘No. If we were we would have told you.”
