Lady A’s Hillary Scott Married

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott married musician Chris Tyrrell on Saturday January 7th in upstate New York surrounded by family and close friends.  

The bride wore a custom Vera Wang strapless mermaid dress with abstract all-over lace underlay, layered tulle skirt with horsehair banding and hand-cut corded lace appliqué with hand-applied crystal and pearl beading.  She complemented the gown with a mantilla veil with hand-cut chantilly lace appliqué. The groom donned a gray Ermenegildo Zegna suit.

When the group co-hosted the countdown in November, Lon asked Hillary if she got any wedding tips from Miranda Lambert:  “No one could ever compete with the soiree that was.  It was truely amazing.  But I took notes, the decor she had was amazing, very approachable, rustic, and it was very them.  Every step of the way, you knew whose wedding you were at and I loved that.”  People magazine reported that bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Heywood were unable to attend the wedding.

Hillary and Chris will have a few weeks for a honeymoon before returning to the road.  Lady Antebellum’s Own The Night tour won’t resume until January 27 in Tulsa.
