Band Perry Meet Garth Brooks

The Band Perry have a connection to Garth Brooks.  They share a manager.  So it’s no surprise that they’ve met the country legend, and have even seen him perform a few times.  Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton asked them about theit time with Garth Brooks.  “We actually got to see Garth perform in Nashville, and we also got to see him in Las Vegas.  The big amazing show he did in Nashville was one thing, but when he was in Vegas I found it more interesting that he was able to keep peoples’ attention with just his voice and a guitar.  That’s something we aspire to be, a great entertainer, and also a great person.”

What did you say the first time you met him? “We probably said, ‘Hi Mr. Brooks.  We really like your music!’  I know we did a photo op with him and got to meet Trisha, and the fact that he was even remotely aware of our music blew our minds for a second and left us speechless, so once we collected our thoughts, I can’t remember one thing.”
