Jake’s Dinner With Keith & Nicole

Jake Owen has been on the road all summer with Keith Urban.  Before the tour began in June, Keith invited Jake to dinner at his home south of Nashville.  Jake told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton that it was a night he’ll never forget. “It was pretty wild, he asked me to come to dinner with him at his house.  But I had no idea who would be there.  I walked in the front door, and there was Reba, Sheryl Crow, and Kenny Chesney.  I had to pinch myself that I was even included in that kind of company.  But what was really cool was there were name tags on the table for where we were to sit.  As we went to sit down, I noticed Keith had put his name tag next to me.  So for the entire dinner, instead of sitting next to his beautiful wife, he sat next to me, cause I hadn’t got to know him yet.  So it was just really cool, for a kid like myself who’s just coming up, to feel included and to talk with him and learn from him, I felt really great.
