The #1 song this week is the first chart topper for Tucker Wetmore. Lon called Tucker to congratulate him. In their conversation, Tucker says he was with friends when he got the news. “I was at dinner. My friend was having a birthday dinner. My head of radio called me and said, ‘Tuck, you can breathe now, I think we did it.’ I started freaking out, my friends were freaking out, and it was a special moment. It means the world to me. I’ve been writing songs for 5 years. To look back a year ago, I didn’t have a single song out. So to get here and have this success, it means the world to me.”
