Kane Brown Co-Hosts 10/19-20

The co-host this wknd is Kane Brown, who has a duet with Marshmello called “Miles On It” in our Top 5. Kane & wife Katelyn just welcomed their third child and first son Krewe in June. Kane just announced his will release a new album called “The High Road” in January. He will also launch The High Road Tour in March.

His current Top 5 is “Miles On It” with Marshmello. “He brought this song to me. I usually don’t like truck songs because they’re used so much. But this one just stuck in my head.”

Kane & Katelyn had their third baby in June, a son named Krewe: “He’s great, super-chill, which all of our babies have been.  It’s been different adjusting to three, but it’s great.  The girls love him to death.  They’re so mature for their age.  They’ve grown up quickly.”

Last week, Kane announced he’ll be releasing his 4th album in January.  But he didn’t announce the songs. Lon asked him if there’s a duet with his wife: “She’s on the album. We have a song called ‘Body Talk’ that’ll go to pop radio.  We also have a country duet.”

Kane’s album has a duet with Jelly Roll: “It’s a song called ‘Haunted.’ It deals with the vulnerable side of depression.  We talk all the time.  We play Call of Duty together, he’ll randomly FaceTime me at 3AM.”  

Kane will be part of Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa in January: “I’ve been asking Luke to get me on Playa for years. Me & Kate’s gonna go.  I think we’re gonna stay for all four days. The Aldeans will be there too, so it’s gonna be a good time.”

Kane is about to tour Australia.  “I think we’re going to go bungy-jumping.  I’ve never done it before.  I love jumping off stuff.  So we’ll see if I do that, or just play X-Box.”

Kane told Lon about a post-ACM party with Jason Aldean & Post Malone: “We wanted to play beer pong.  It was me & Jelly against Aldean & Post.  We tried to put money on it, but me & Aldean have the same business manager, and she said ‘No.’  I ended up winning.”

Kane also has great stories this week about Chris Young, Dasha, Tyler Hubbard, Dustin Lynch, Zach Top, and Bailey Zimmerman.
