LBT Hits Luke Bryan’s Bus

Little Big Town will host CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock this Tuesday night on ABC-TV. As part of their hosting, the group did a number of things with the other country stars on that show.  One was with this week’s co-host Luke Bryan.  Little Big Town told Lon Helton, “We became talent escorts, and were to escort Luke from his bus to the stage.  Jimi didn’t know he had the golf cart in reverse, and he whammed into Luke’s bus.  He put a dent in it.  Luke was in there waiting on us, and he goes, ‘What just happened to me bus?'”

We played that story for Luke this week, and he added this: “I’m sittin’ on the bus, waiting, and it felt like my bus shook, and I thought, ‘Somebody just ran into the bus!’  I peek out of the window, and there’s Jimi and Little Big Town, he backed into my tour bus, and they’re trying to get the golf cart into forward and get the hell out of there.   But they just put a dent in  the bay door.  What a funny moment to have Jimi run into my bus.  Luckily, you can order a bay door and replace it.  But Jimi will never live that down.”

You can be sure that moment will be part of The CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock, Tuesday August 4th on ABC-TV.  Other stars on the show will include Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, and The Zac Brown Band.
