FGL Share Food, Saki With AJ

Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley & Tyler Hubbard had a fun time at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards in Dallas.  They won a pair of awards, including Vocal Event for their hit “This Is How We Roll,” with Luke Bryan.

There was an artist-only bus compound near the stadium, and Brian told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton he met a legend: “We were parked right near Alan Jackson, and had some food brought to us from the amazing restaurant.  We had some food left over, so we brought him some crab, and some cake, and he returned the favor with some amazing Saki! It was the first time we’d met him!  We went up to him and introduced ourselves and said, ‘Hey you’re the man, thank you for what do for country music, and here’s some food if you want some.’  And he came back and said, ‘I got some strong Saki for y’all.’  It was real strong!  We sipped on that Saki, it was pretty good.  Can’t turn that down from AJ!”

There were probably 80 tour buses parked outside AT&T Stadium.  Tyler said, “I think everybody’s bus was there.  It was a cool experience.  It felt like we were camping.  We had a basketball court, the grills going, music playing, making it a little parking lot party!”
