Big & Rich Connection to #1 Song

Big & Rich joined Lon as co-hosts this week.  They were very proud and happy to see a friend at #1: Frankie Ballard.  It turns out they became friends with Frankie a few years ago, and even wrote a song with him that’s on their new album “Gravity.”  They talked about it with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton:

John: He’s one of the most talented, genuine people, when you get to know him, the genuine nature of this guy, there’s something about him that I believe he can be a massive star in country music.  We took him out on the road to write a couple songs, and I’m just proud of him.  That’s the spirit of the Music Mafia.  The whole point is we don’t compete, we help each other.  It’s so cool.  We knew it.  Love to see a great talent like this move up the charts.
