Florida Georgia Line Preview Tour

| October 6, 2013

FGL 10-1-13 2Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are having an incredible year.  Their debut single, “Cruise” began the year at the top of the chart.  They followed it with two more #1s.  They spent the year on the road with Luke Bryan.  And now they’re launching their own Here’s To The Good Times Tour.  Last week, the duo previewed the show for Nashville reporters and industry representatives.

Before the music, there was a moment of celebration.  Tyler & BK received plaques for album sales and radio airplay.  “We want to let you know how grateful we are for all your support,” Brian said. “You are the reason we are getting these plaques. And country radio … for loving the music, digging our sound and for changing our lives. It’s very humbling, we can promise you that, and we’re ready to party our faces off this fall for the tour.”FGL 10-1-13 3

Then they announced a special repackage of their debut album, “Here’s To The Good Times,” available on November 25th.  The guys promised five new songs and some special guests.  Tyler said, “November 25 can’t get here fast enough, and we’ve been working really hard. We’ll leave here heading back into the studio. So thank you again, and we hope you guys like the repackage.”

Then it was time for music.  Fans who attend the Here’s To The Good Times Tour will get quite a show, with lots of lights, pyro, smoke, video, special effects, and confetti.  It’s definitely more than the typical first tour.  Fans will also get to know Tyler & BK, in a series of biographical videos and photos throughout the show.  The two obviously learned a lot from their year on the road with Luke Bryan.  And Luke was quick to with them well.  He told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton: “I’m gonna enjoy watching them climb to that headlining status, and remember the way-back-when days.”  The 45 minute concert preview featured all of their hits, “Get Your Shine On,” “Round Here,” and of course “Cruise.”  Their also debuted their new single “Stay.”  The tour has already begun, with opening acts Colt Ford and Tyler Farr.  There are 40 dates between now and the end of the year.  You can expect a high energy show from start to confetti-filled finish.
