Lady A Supports Luke Bryan

While some people may be criticizing Luke Bryan’s current hit, “That’s My Kind of Night,” the guys in Lady Antebellum are supporting their guy Luke.  Charles & Dave spoke with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton: “He’s pushing it, but he IS country music, he’s SO country, so he can get away with pushing pretty far.  The lyrics are still so very down home and country, ‘Catchin’ up a little catfish dinner.’  But he throws in hip hop beats behind this song too.  Deep south Georgia, rap meets country.  I think it’s just awesome to see his success because he’s such a great guy, and you want someone like that to win.  So I’m super jealous of him right now.”  Dave added, “It reminds me of Chesney when he had his first few records, and then he found his audience, with that Jimmy Buffett thing, he set sail for the stadiums.  I think Luke has too.  I see him growing his touring career the way Aldean’s playing these baseball stadiums.  So I think Luke’s about to do those as well.”
