Lady A Aces The Masters

Fans of Lady Antebellum know that Charles Kelley and Dave Heywood grew up in Augusta, Georgia, home of The Masters Golf Tournament.  So now that the trio is off the road, Charles & Dave were able to head home to watch the early rounds of this year’s championship.  They talked about it with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton: “We went to The Masters, Thursday & Friday.  It was awesome.  We grew up in Augusta, but hadn’t been able to go to the tournament for a few years, so that was our one request to management.  ‘Can you build in a few days off so we can  go to the tournament?’  It was awesome, Adam Scott winning, the first Australian, we go and tour a lot in Australia, so we sent out a tweet just congratulating, because we knew the Australian fans were fired up about that.”

Have you played Augusta?  “Charles has.”  “I’m playing  in a couple weeks.  It’ll probably be one of the last weeks before they shut it down, because they shut it down for the summer.”
