Blake Loves The Pink Pistol
Back in November, Miranda Lambert opened a store she called The Pink Pistol in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Of course, she enlisted help from her husband, Blake Shelton. When Blake co-hosted Country Countdown USA, he explained to Lon Helton why he was hanging that sign: “They had me down there helping, moving furniture around the store before it opened, and this sign was on the floor, and I said, ‘Get this sign out of my way,’ so I was up there hanging this sign, and she’s like, ‘Can you move it more to the left?’ It’s up there now over the cash register. It’s a really neat place, if you’re driving through Southern Oklahoma, you’ve gotta drop by. There’s actually things in there, furniture, this happens in my driveway, stuff Miranda buys at a garage sale, dumps it in my driveway, and sand it down, paint it down, if you were ever interested in something like that, you gotta go by the Pink Pistol. It’s crazy and people are having fun with it.”

Blake went on to praise Miranda for all she’s done for their home town: “What Miranda has done for the town of Tishomingo Oklahoma is nothing short of amazing. I’ve lived there for seven years, and it had been dead. She put that store in, refuses to do online business, and it has driven people into that town. You can drive through on any day of the week, and Main Street is alive again, new businesses are opening because people love Miranda, and they’re coming to see The Pink Pistol.”
