Lon Helton Wins 6th CMA Award

Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton has been named CMA National Radio Personality of the Year for the 6th time, the most by any radio host.  Lon received the news from Jason Aldean, who was co-hosting the show.  Jason told Lon, “I actually got some news for you, I am the chosen one to come in here and let you know that you, my friend, have won the CMA Broadcast Personality of the Year, so congratulations!”  Lon responded, “That really is unbelievable news.  It is such an honor, it’s the highest honor we can get.  So thanks!”
