Rascal Flatts Welcomes New Baby

Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus & wife Allison welcomed their second child, a son Dylan Jay, on Friday afternoon.  The band had a show that night in Detroit, but Jay was able to stay in Nashville to witness the birth.  People reports that Jay then flew to Detroit, still wearing his hospital scrubs.   The boy joins older sister Madeline, seen in the picture. 

Back when Rascal Flatts co-hosted Country Countdown USA, Jay told Lon Helton they were expecting the baby during the first week of August.  Jay explained the baby’s name here:

Rascal Flatts is currently on their Changed Tour with the Eli Young Band.  Lead singer Mike Eli & his wife are expecting a daughter also during the first week of August.
