Alan: Walk of Fame Was “Sweet”

| June 10, 2012

Back in November, Alan Jackson was inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame in downtown Nashville.  In fact, Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton made the induction speech.  In this first radio interview since that event, Alan talked about that day: “You did a great job making me sound good!  At the time, it came up and I hadn’t put much thought into it, and when we got there, it was very sweet.  To be there, across from the Hall of Fame, and think of all the music in that area, down on Broadway, and have my name down there in the cement, it’s really something.  I’ve done everything, got a million awards, sometimes you get jaded, but every now and then something like that comes along, and makes you realize how lucky you are and how special this has been.  It was real nice.”
