Zac Brown is Father First

There is a side of Zac Brown the public doesn’t see, and it’s the side that takes a lot of his time and energy.  It’s his role as a husband and father of four young daughters.  Zac talked about it with Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton: “My little ladies get up in the morning, and our bedroom is above where our bedroom is, so you hear theirlittle  feet running upstairs.  They come easing downstairs, and some mornings they’ll come crawl in bed with us and wake up, we get out, get breakfast, and figure out what we’re gonna do for the day.  Yesterday, we jumped in the car and went up to the river and we were in a kayak, paddling around, catching bugs, playing in the rover, swinging on a rope swing, I do my best when I’m home to be engaged with them.  But on the way there, they’re watching movies, and I’m on the phone.  But when the car stops, it’s get out and be dad, no success is worth it if you missed your kids growing up.  It’s so much fun now.  When people find out I’ve got four girls, they say “Oh you’re in trouble, man,” but they don’t understand that love, when I come home, all four of them are there, it’s awesome man, there’s nothing like it.”
