Taylor’s Talkative Cat Meredith

Taylor Swift has a new friend: a cute kitten she named Meredith.  Last week, Taylor released a get-out-the vote video featuring Meredith.  The plot is simple: Taylor is introducing Meredith to the voting system for ACM Entertainer of the Year.  Key points are puctuated by “meows” from the friendly feline.  When Taylor co-hosted Country Countdown USA, Lon Helton asked about the video: “You can’t be that cute as a cat and not be put on film. I’m always taking pictures of her.  The latest was I videotaped her one day in the kitchen and she was meowing at me a lot.  So I edited together where we were talking about ACM voting.  It was just a typical morning and I got the idea that maybe the fans would see it an d maybe thing it was funny.  It would be awesome if the fans would vote in the ACM voting, because they were so amazing to get me nominated this year.”
