| November 23, 2011

Nashville, TN – November 21, 2011 — Today The Valory Music Co.’s Justin Moore and his wife Kate have more to celebrate than just his successful music career. The proud parents of 21-month-old Ella Kole welcome their second daughter, Kennedy Faye Moore, into the world this morning. Born in Justin’s home state, Arkansas at 7:59AM, Kennedy arrived at 7 pounds, 18 ½ inches long.

“Faye was my grandmother’s name, who passed away a couple of years ago, so we thought it would be a great way to remember her. And, we both just liked Kennedy,” said Justin Moore.

It’s been a record year for Moore, who topped the Billboard Country Albums and Singles charts earlier this year. Both OUTLAWS LIKE ME and its lead single, “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” reached #1.

Moore who just wrapped up a busy year out on the road with Miranda Lambert, as well as his own headlining dates, was home for the birth and plans to spend the next few weeks with his family. The news comes just in time for the Thanksgiving season, which is Moore’s favorite holiday. At the beginning of the new year, he will open for Blake Shelton’s new tour.

Fans of Justin know that he sports a huge tattoo on his right forearm that reads II-XI-X, which stands for 2-11-10, the birthday of his first daughter Ella.  When we interviewed Justin a few months ago, he hadn’t decided if he was going to get a tattoo for his second daughter.  But Lon pointed out to him that it’s pretty much required.
