Carrie Sings With a Legend
Carrie Underwood has sung with a wide variety of people, from Brad Paisley and Randy Travis, to Stevn Tyler and even Elvis Presley. But now she’s featured on the new Duets II album by Tony Bennett. She told Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton she was thrilled to sing with a legend: “Getting to sing with him just made my heart smile. He’s just such a nice guy. We did it together, we were in a room with the musicians, we had these mics and they said we didn’t have to get up close, just sing. I’d never done that before. It was laid back nice vibe, just sang it three or four times and it was done. We did it here in Nashville. He came here. He’s just a nice man, he’s so sweet.”
