Brad Jams With a Rolling Stone

This week’s co-host Brad Paisley just returned from a two week tour of Europe.  He told Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton he had a great time: “I’m floored, I was absolutely floored.  The beauty of it is it’s such a different culture, they knew the word to songs off the first album that had not been hits.”

When Brad played London, he got to jam with a special guest: Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones.  “We have the same guitar tech. When he heard I was coming over, he said ‘I’ve got to sit in, we’ll play some blues.’ So we did.”

At that point in the conversation, Brad and Carrie challenged each other to speak in English and Australian accents.  You can hear the exchange below.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  (Aug. 18, 2011)  CMA Entertainer of the Year Brad Paisley performed before a full house at the O2 Arena in London, England. During the encore Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones) joined Paisley as a surprise guest and they performed “Let The Good Times Roll” then ended the show with support act Darius Rucker joining them on Paisley’s hit “Alcohol.”
