George Strait To Be Grandfather
George Strait told Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton that he & his wife Norma will become grandparents in February. George’s son, Bubba, married girlfriend Tamara Shipman last December. Now there’s even bigger news. George told Lon, “I’m gonna be a grand-dad! They’re expecting a baby in February, so we’re all excited about that. They’re pretty sure it’s a boy, so I’m looking forward to it.” You can hear all of Lon’s conversation with George Strait on Country Countdown USA October 1-2.
