Lon Helton Wins 5th CMA
Lon Helton, host of CMT’s Country Countdown USA, was named the winner of the 2010 CMA National Broadcast Personality of the Year Award. He was given the news from CMA New Artist nominee Chris Young, who called during the show. This made Lon’s fifth time to win the award. He also won the same award from the Academy of Country Music in 2009. Lon will receive his award during the 44th annual CMA Awards on November 10th.
