Keith’s Life in San Francisco

| June 12, 2011

When you’re married to an Oscar-winning actress, and you want to keep your family together when she shoots a new movie, that may mean a change in routine.  Keith Urban told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton that’s what happened to him earlier this year.  “We relocated to San Francisco for a few months because Nic was shooting a film there, so it was a 3-1/2 month shoot. So we found a place to rent and moved the whole family for 2-1/2 months.  We found a school for Sunny, a little pre-school for 3 days a week, and I had my car sent from Nashville, so we had the family car there, and for a short period it felt like living there, you get up in the morning, take Sunny to school, and do things, and it’s a great city.”

The movie Nicole was filming is an HBO movie, “Hemingway and Gellhorn.” She plays Marth Gellhorn, a World War 2 correspondent, who inspired Hemingway’s book, “For Whom The Bell Tolls.”  It’s expected to air next year.
