Why Miranda Missed Blakes Cruise

Blake Shelton hosted a week-long country cruise last month.  Other artists included Trace Adkins, Easton Corbin, Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann, Randy Houser, and many more.  But one person missing from the guest list was Blake’s wife Miranda Lambert.  Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton was also on the cruise, so he asked Miranda where she was: “Well for one thing I get miserably seasick, and for another, I hadn’t been home, and Blake built a lodge recently, so I had permission to fix up our house, so I just was home.  My parents came up, and I knew I was going to have to be in LA all of this time [The Voice is doing live shows now], so I thought, let me have a few days to chill at home to wear overalls and no make-up. That’s what I did.  He was texting me the whole time, ‘I’m on the boat, still on the boat, still sitting on the boat,’ and I was having fun, painting and fixing up the house, so it was good.  We love to be together, but RaeLynn was there, she’s our adopted child/sister, she was on Blake’s team last year, and she was there watching him, making sure he was behaving.”  Of course, Blake & Miranda are now back together at their rented Hollywood Hills home, as Blake leads his team on NBC’s The Voice.  The Season Three Finale will air Tuesday December 18.
