CCUSA’s Helton & Alan Jackson
Last week, a couple thousand radio station programmers descended on Nashville for an annual event called Country Radio Seminar. Among the memorable events: George Strait performed at the Ryman Auditorium, Faith Hill previewed songs from her next album, and Carrie Underwood debuted her new single. Thursday afternoon, Alan Jackson gave radio programmers a tour through his 23-year career, guided by Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton. He also played several new songs, including his current single, “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore.” That song will be included on a new album, due out later this year. “They say it’s gonna come out in May. Maybe they’re saying it may come out,” he joked.
