Luke Bryan Surprises Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean was Lon Helton’s co-host this week on Country Countdown USA.  We had just played Luke Bryan’s song in the Top 30, when the studio door opened, and in walked Luke himself.  “What’s up!  Are you really at my song in the show?”  Jason answered, “We were just talking about how you haven’t given me a copy of your new album.” “I have one in the truck, I’ll leave it for you on the windshield.” Jason asked, “What are you doing here?” Luke answered, “I’m here doing work in the other room.  Hey two for one, Lonnie!”

Jason told Luke he’d just brought up a fishing trip they’d had together.  “Yeah what’s funny, we’re out there, 7 grown men, they drop these big offshore reels, and there’s ol’ Bo Bryan, you have to hold on to him by his belt, and next thing you know Bo cranks one off the bottom, and that was the only fish caught on that, he caught the first fish, and the grown men didn’t catch anything.”  Jason added, “Thank God he took a nap, so we didn’t have to hear him bragging.”
