FGL: Diapers In Times Square
Florida Georgia Line played New York’s Times Square on New Year’s Eve. Over a million people jammed into that area to ring in the new year. The guys had a lot of respect for those fans who stood in the bitter cold for hours without benefit of a bathroom. FGL’s Brian Kelley had this advice for those who are thinking about going next year:
“Lon, I’m gonna give you a little advice. If you’re interested in going, you want to bring some diapers, or something to pee in. They said 1 out of 8 people wear diapers because once you get your spot, if you leave, you can’t get back in. They start lining these people up all day, and you got to go to the bathroom. So people will wear diapers, or as the night wore on, there were bottles of pee everywhere! It’s not apple juice. Just want to give some public information. You gotta go somewhere.”
Tyler added: “It was cold, man, but that was definitely the best way to do that. It was so set up, and a great way to experience it. There are millions of people, and you just have to see it to experience it, it’s hard to explain, but it’s definitely something you should do once.”
