Luke Bryan’s Boys Bo & Tate

Luke Bryan isn’t just a country superstar, selling out stadiums, and having #1 hits.  He’s also a father of two young boys: Bo & Tate.  He talked about them this week with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton:

I see Tate celebrated his 4th birthday last month: “Yep, we those big blow up water slides, had a bunch of kids out at the farm, slide on the water slide, play in the mud.  It was so cute, we were singing Happy Birthday to Tate, and he blew the candles out before we finished, and he was so excited.  To watch ’em grow up, they’re changing every day.”

So Bo is 6 and Tate is 4, so what’s the dynamic between the two? “It’s amazing but they drive each other crazy.  They can be so sweet to each other, and then Bo’s standing on Tate’s head and Tate’s throwing rocks at him.”

What sets them off to each other? “They know how to push each other’s buttons.  Bo can poke at Tate, and then Tate picks up a stick to poke at Bo.  So it’s funny to see them argue and fight, and then you’ll see them watching a movie together.

Has Bo lost his teeth yet? Oh, Bo’s got a tooth falling out every week, and his two front teeth are coming in all twisted up.  We’ll have $10,00 in orthodontist bills.  They look just like my teeth at his age.  My mama said, ‘Boy you could eat a pumpkin through a picket fence.’ So Bo’s teeth are in line with daddy. But Bo actually knocked his front teeth out, so the new ones came in early.  He fell on a swing set and knocked ’em all out.”
