Jason Aldean Calls Out Cole

Cole Swindell is a hot newcomer with two #1 hits and a CMA nomination.  But a few years ago, he was selling t-shirts for Luke Bryan.  That’s when he first met Jason Aldean.  Jason shared his memories of Cole with Lon Helton on Country Countdown USA: “Cole’s one of those guys who’s super cool, when the show was over, he wanted to hang out and party with everybody else, and the last thing he wanted to do was pack up t-shirts, so he’d pay my guys to do his work.  I’m glad his music career took off, because selling merch was not his thing.  He can’t deny that.  He’s awesome, I’m really happy for him.  He was part of our crew, he hung out with us before he got his record deal, and now to have a couple #1s, I’m happy for him, proud of him, and it’s cool to see that kind of stuff happen for guys like that.”

Jason Aldean will be reunited with Cole Swindell next year.  Cole will be part of Jason’s Burn It Down Tour when it resumes in February.
