Lee Brice Pittsburgh Bus Panic

Lee Brice had a harrowing experience last month right before show-time at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.  He was there with Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Cole Swindell for the first stadium show on Luke’s 2014 That’s My Kind of Night Tour.  Luke told the story on Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton: “Lee’s wife and child got locked in his tour bus for an hour, right before show time.  So I’m backstage getting ready, Lee’s running around, and they thought they had to call the fire department, because the door on the tour bus malfunctioned.  Didn’t they have to climb out the window?” Lee responded, “They had to climb out the window of the bus, and there are small windows on tour buses. But Luke was like, ‘What’s wrong? You’re about to go on stage.’ I’m like, ‘My wife and kids is locked on my tour bus back stage.’  So it was just a little crazy, but it’s all right.  We got ’em off.”

There are a few more stadiums in Lee’s future.  He’ll play Gillette Stadium in Boston next week, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on August 15th, and Soldier Field in Chicago on August 31st.
