Lee Brice Makes A Gospel Album
A few weeks ago, it was reported that Lee Brice was recording a gospel record. So when he co-hosted Country Countdown USA, we asked him to explain the story. Here’s what Lee said: “I think I’m going to make a gospel album. The bottom line is I grew up my whole life listening to my mother and all her sisters sing. So I just want to, now that I’m at a point when I can do it, get a recording of what I’ve been listening to my whole life. So basically I want to record them singing. So in December, I’m going to get a bus and bring up my whole family from South Carolina, bring ’em up to Nashville and do some recording. I may want to do some songs myself and have them do the backgrounds. So yeah, I guess I’m making a gospel album.”
Of course, before he begins work on that album, he’ll release his third studio album, “I Don’t Dance,” featuring the Top 5 title song. That album, containing 16 songs, will be released on September 9.
