Dierks Bentley Takes The Challenge
Just about every country star you can name, from Garth Brooks to George Strait, has taken the Ice Bucket Challenge. Last week, Dierks Bentley was challenged by tour-mate Chase Rice, and as you can see, he dumped a tub of ice water on his head. He talked about the experience with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton:
So how’d it happen? Chase Rice challenged me to the Ice Bucket Challenge. He used to play football at the University of North Carolina, he’s pretty muscular, and he sent me this video where he’s got his shirt off and takes a bucket of ice water and dumps it on his head, to raise awareness for ALS. So it gets sent to me, and I figure that’s the deal, you have to take your shirt off to do this thing. So I did it and it blew up my Facebook page, had over a million and a half views in two days. So I passed it off to Cole Swindell and Luke Bryan, and those guys do it with their shirts on! I thought part of the deal was you had to take your shirt off! I’m no Chase Rice! I work out, but I’m a long way from McGraw and Chase Rice. So I owe him something for that. Plus his bucket had half the water in it than mine did, so I’m calling Chase out, he has to do it again.
Who did you challenge? I challenged Kip Moore and Cadillac 3. They have long hair, so I want to see them dripping wet.
