The Band Perry’s Kimberly Married

The Band Perry’s lead singer Kimberly married Texas Rangers catcher J.P. Arencibia Thursday at the Perry family church in Greenville TN.  People Magazine reports that Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and Blake Shelton were among the celebrity guests.

Friday night at CMA Music Fest, Kimberly was asked about her wedding plans, and she said, “The greatest challenge is schedule.  We’re going to pick the most inopportune moment for both of us to tie the knot, which is right in the middle of baseball and tour season, so that’s been the biggest adjustment.  Reid has a mantra and that is ‘Life happens on the go.” The evening we got engaged, it happened very quickly, and we jumped on the bus to shoot our Fall Out Boy Crossroads, so it is life for us, and it’s a charmed and a blessed one, so no complaints here, but we’re going to get everything done in about 24 hours, so we’ll keep you guys posted.”

Kimberly spoke the truth, because the Texas Rangers begin a three day road trip Friday in Seattle.  So it’s very likely that he’ll be on a plane very quickly after the ceremony to start against the Mariners.  The Band Perry, on the other hand, is off until next Friday, when they begin the Ten Times Crazier Tour with Blake Shelton.

Back when The Band Perry co-hosted the Countdown, Kimberly told host Lon Helton that she in fact picked out their engagement ring.  We’re hoping the trio will be back very soon to report on the wedding.
