Florida Georgia Line #1 For 2013

Florida Georgia Line’s debut song “Cruise” is the #1 song of 2013, according to Mediabase and Country Aircheck.  Country Countdown USA host and Aircheck Publisher Lon Helton broke the news to Tyler Hubbard & Brian Kelley at the end of the Top 70 of 2013 Countdown.  The duo was obviously stunned by the news: “Wow, that’s awesome.  Are you kidding me?  That’s unreal.”  The duo was also the most-played artists in the country format for all of 2013.  Brian said, “Wow, you’re givin’ me chills here, Lon!”  Tyler added, “Not a bad year, eh?  That’s insane.  You leave us speechless.  It’s a testament to our amazing fans, and it’s an amazing feeling to be accepted by country radio, and see and feel the love on a nightly basis.  That’s the only reason that we’re where we’re at, because of our fans and radio.  So thanks to our fans and country radio for helping us make history, and we promise we’ll keep putting out great songs, and doing shows.” Listen Here:
