Miranda Lambert’s Birthday Body

It was a big week for Miranda Lambert.  She won the CMA Female Vocalist award for the 4th time, which tied her with Reba McEntire for most consecutive wins. And while her professional achievement was worthy of attention, her appearance was also getting some notice.   That night, her husband tweeted “My wife is so hot it’s ridiculous.”  Backstage at the CMA Awards, Miranda was asked about it: “I just feel like I need to be ahead of the game.  I’m turning 30 on Sunday.  People say, ‘Are you OK about turning 30,’ and I guess I am, but I guess I’m not, because everybody always says ‘It goes downhill from there.’  So I just thought if I get ahead of it, maybe I won’t have to work so hard later in life.  All through my 20s, I worked a lot, and the road life is a lot of fast food, a lot of late nights, a lot of drinking, I didn’t give up drinking…I refused.  I’d give up my husband.  You have to drink to put up with that.  Just kidding!  Anyway I just felt like I should get a bit more healthy, I have a record coming out in the spring, and it’s an important record, it’s my fifth album, and I have this spot, it’s a great spot in country music, and I want to keep it, and I want people to know I care, that I found my niche and I care about it, and I want to look the part too, so just finding a new spot in my life, working hard, I didn’t give up a lot, just Cheetos, which I might have some tonight, just to celebrate!”
