Blake Shelton Co-Hosts 11/2-3
Blake Shelton co-hosts the pre-CMA edition of the Countdown. Blake has 5 nominations, including Entertainer and Male Vocalist, both of which he won last year. Blake says live shows of The Voice also begin this week, so he’ll fly back and forth between LA and Nashville. He confirms that he asked NBC to move a special Wednesday edition of The Voice to Thursday so he could attend the CMA Awards. Blake talks about Hunter Hayes performing with Season 4 winner Danielle Bradbery, as well as Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope, who’s in the Top 30. And he tells the special connection he has to Miranda Lambert’s new duet with Keith Urban.
