Luke Bryan’s Baby Boy Names

Luke Bryan has a couple of young boys named Bo & Tate.  Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy are expecting their first boy.  So when Luke found out Dierks was having a boy, he had a lot to say.  Dierks talked about it with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton: “Luke was one of the first people I heard from, I was sitting in my truck after we saw the sonogram that we were having a boy.  So he called me to congratulate me on having a kid, he didn’t know I just walked out of the doctor’s office.  So I told him, ‘You’re the first person to find this out, we’re actually having a boy.’  He flipped out.  He doesn’t have girls, he doesn’t know how cool girls are, his whole world revolves around boys.  He says, ‘Oh man, get ready to start living!’  He just went off on a tangent about picking names.  He had some advice for that too.  He said we should pick a name for somebody you’d hang out with, wanna party with, have a few cold beers with.  We’re running some names through the Luke Bryan filter.  It’s tough coming up with a boy’s name.  I like to keep it pretty simple.”

The due date hasn’t been announced, but we know it’s coming up soon.  Dierks told Lon, “There’s like an eight day window in my tour schedule for my wife.  I told her, ‘You really have to be strategic.  Whatever that due date is, we need to hone in really close to that.’  It’s like, what’s the priority here?  The touring or the baby.  Just have the baby close to that due date and we’re all good!”
