Jason, Luke, & Zac Karaoke Party

Ever wonder what country stars do when they’re not on stage singing?  For some, the answer is they sing karaoke!  Last week, Zac Brown told us about attending a karaoke party at Jason Aldean’s house.  So Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton played that story for Jason Aldean, and this is what he said: “I remember that very well.  Kid Rock was hosting the karaoke, and Luke Bryan sang Lionel Ritchie’s Dancing On The Ceiling.  Maybe that’s where his dance moves started.  It was after the very first CMT Artists Of The Year show.  We threw the after-party at my house, Zac, Luke, Lady A, Maroon 5, it was pretty crazy.  I love karaoke.  There is nothing more fun than having drinks and watching your friends make idiots of themselves.  It’s cheap fun.”

What is your go-to karaoke song? “My go-to song is “Drift Away” by Doby Gray.  I can usually sing it OK, and later in the night, you get “Sweet Caroline,” where you’re just drunk.  Just looking for somebody to help you sing.”
