Jason & Luke New Year’s Eve

They spent all of 2012 on the road together, but apparently it just wasn’t enough.  When the year ended, Jason Aldean invited his buddy Luke Bryan to his house for a small New Year’s Eve party.  He told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton about the festivities: “We had a little party at my farm that’s about an hour outside of Nashville.  A few years ago, it was a handful of people.  Now we don’t have enough room for people to sleep at our house.  So Luke Bryan was there, and he brought a camper!  He looked like Cousin Eddie!  We had to run power for the campers.  It was a trip.  We had karaoke, Luke decided he wanted to build a bonfire.  I think he had the record for biggest bonfire.  He was dragging full trees, he’s got the Polaris dragging huge trees out of the woods, with a chain saw cutting them up for this fire.  I should have paid him!  He cleaned my place up!”

The next day, Jason’s favorite team the Georgia Bulldogs played Nebraska in a Bowl Game.  So Jason made sure he was able to watch: “I was a little blurry-eyed the next day.  I think I watched the first quarter from my bed.  But Georgia played New Year’s Day, they had me nervous at first, but pulled it out at the end.  So it was a good game!  Good win for us!”
