Jason Aldean Calls Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan spent the entire year on the road with Jason Aldean as part of the My Kinda Party Tour.  Now that the tour is over, you’d think the two might go their separate ways.  But that’s not the case!  While appearing on Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton, Luke’s cell phone rang, and he received a call from Jason!

This wasn’t the first time the two connected during the Countdown.  Back in the spring, Luke called in while Jason was co-hosting.   So the two were quick to explain their bro-mance: “It’s funny how that happens, isn’t it?” Luke said, “Hey America Jason & I don’t talk this much on the phone.  It’s just a weird coincidence.”  Jason assured, “And we’re not dating!”

As it turns out, the two were planning a weekend family hunting expedition, and Jason was calling to see if Luke was on schedule.  “Yeah, the deer hunting is in full swing.  (Jason) We’re supposed to be hooking up later this afternoon, heading to Iowa to hunt and then on to Kansas for about four days to hunt and film for our TV show Buck Commander.”  After Jason hung up, Luke went on to explain the plan: “We’re taking the tour bus.  I’ve got my tour bus taking he & I, and his tour bus is gonna grab Caroline and Jessica and the kids, and they’re gonna come up Friday.  So we’ve got it figured out.  That’s the only thing my management doesn’t have to plan out is me hunting.  They know I’ve got that handled!”
