Easton Corbin: No More Cruises

Easton Corbin spent a week last month on the Blake Shelton Country Cruise.  He was there with several country stars, including Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, Randy Houser, and Trace Adkins.  Joining them for the ride were thousands of country fans, as well as Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton.  This week, Lon spoke with Easton about the experience:

So how’d you enjoy the cruise? Oh man, I tell you what, I still wake up at night thinking I’m still on this cruise.  I finally look out my window, and nope, I’m at home.

How was it to completely get away?  I don’t know, for me I like to still be in contact, total isolation is not for me.  I’ve never been on a cruise, and they treated us great, but it’s tough for me to be in one spot that long.  I know it’s a big ship, but by Sunday, I couldn’t wait to get off. 

I hosted a question and answer session with you & Jerrod Niemann one day.  What did you think about that?  It was really neat, it’s always good to have that one on one with the fans.  I had no clue that Jerrod was such a big fan of Lefty Frizzel.  He has a tattoo on his arm.  We got a chance to visit and I learned a lot about him.

Randy Houser was also on that Q&A session, so what did you learn about him? Here’s the deal: You can hear his laugh a mile away.  You know it’s Randy when you hear that laugh.
