Eli Young Band Meet Alabama
The Eli Young Band performed at the Stagecoach Festival in Southern California earlier this year. While on that show, they met a group of country legends: Alabama. They talked about it with Lon Helton of Country Countdown USA: “That was an incredible night. We actually got to hang out on Randy Owen’s bus, and have some good conversation, which was pretty amazing. It was an incredible show to watch, because it was hit after hit. They started playing these songs and memories would come out. My dad used to drive trucks when I was a kid, and we used to go out in the summer, and the first song he’d play was “Roll On,” so that was astory I got to share with Randy & his wife. When I hear that song I think of leaving in that 18 wheeler for two week. He was super nice to us.”
