Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, & Goats
Back in January, Luke Bryan told us that he had been attacked by a pair of goats during the CMT Tour. This week, we got the story from the man who pulled the goat prank, Lee Brice. Turns out that it was an act of retaliation. Luke struck first, while Lee was on stage, singing the Garth Brooks hit “More Than a Memory.” Luke launched some rockets that startled Lee, as well as the audience. So while Luke was on stage, Lee and tour mate Josh Thompson brought out a couple of large goats (see the photo). Lee said, “These aren’t little goats. They’re 200 pound goats, they come up to your chin. We walked out with these goats, handed him the leashes, and he was left out there with these goats. Then they started gnawing on him! Then the best part was we found out that Luke has a phobia thing about goats. We didn’t know that. So it turned out perfect. They were BIG goats!”
