Dierks Bentley’s Well Worn Boots

There was a moment during Lon Helton’s interview with Dierks Bentley when he couldn’t help but notice the tape holding he boots together.  “That is some hockey gaff tape holding that boot together.  Without that tape, the boot would fall apart.  These particular boots I’ve only had for about two years.  But I have another pair just like this, I buy the same boots every time, and I have three sets of these boots and they’re all worn out.  Eventually it comes down to gaff tape and they get retired.  I was supposed to retire these at the end of  the 2011 season, but they’re making a debut in 2012.  Who was that who couldn’t let go of his blanket? Linus from Peanuts?”
