The Elf Or ELK On The Shelf?

Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox is friends with Justin Moore.  Justin toured with the band last year, and he shares an interest in hunting with Gary.  So when Rascal Flatts co-hosted Country Countdown USA, Gary congratulated Justin on his latest hunting trip: “Justin, congratulations, cause I heard he shot his first elk this year, he was excited about that, he sent me pictures and everything.”  At that point, Joe Don interrupted: “He shot an elf?”  Gary: “Yeah, Santa’s one short this year!  No, it was an elk.”  Jay: “We used to have an Elf On a Shelf, and now Justin Moore has an Elk on a Shelf. That’s a whole new book”

So do any of you have Elf On The Shelf?  Joe Don: “Yeah, I got em, and Jagger’s 3-1/2 so he’s all about it.  We got a name for it, his name’s Hendrix the Elf, you get a book where you fill out all the info, sweet little elf.”  Jay: “We got one, it was one of the first Christmas presents we got for Maddy from her grandmother.” Gary: “Jay’s wife puts it up for Jay!” To which Jay replied, “That’s not far from the truth.”
